What can I expect in your class?

To get their best work, students need to produce a large volume of ideas. This is why my classes have a high level of focus on design and developing drawing styles. In design studio, we will focus on using a variety of methods for making - digital and analog - at varying scales to help students develop a process to produce their best work.

What brought you to the field of teaching?

I got a bachelor's in marketing from Creighton University. I ultimately wanted to do something creative, so I took a pause after undergrad for two years to work as an AmeriCorps member for College Possible. It was there that I first fell in love with teaching and service work.
